I love `0 v 0`

I haven't been around in a while. I'll try and change that in the future.

Threadless

My first attempt at designing for Threadless went down today. I submitted a t-shirt for critique and I'm hella nervous about it.

Stranger Than Fiction was the inspiration. The visual pun of "flours" was so awesome I couldn't help myself.

More Pirates! ARRGH!

The final four of my pirate owls! I've only enough fabric to make about two more of these mutinous scrags, so if they're your kind of cuppa, do stop by the shop and pick one up. They'll be posted soon!

Meet Frida Ka-Owl-o

This is the week we celebrate the mustache, but we can't let the men have all the fun, now can we?

I'd like y'all to meet, Frida Ka-Owl-o

The real Frida Kahlo grew up in a society dripping with machismo. I believe one of the reasons she let the hair above her lips and her brows grow so predominantly was to try and take back some strength from all the iron-willed men surrounding her. She apologized to no one, and her beauty will always be timeless, along with her incredible work.

(This little owl is an experiment. I'd love to hear what you have to think of her.)

Thank you for looking!

Celebrating the Mustache!

This week I'm working on some new owls with rather fanciful mustaches. The newest of which is down there at the bottom of this post, but first! Let's celebrate the art of the 'stache!

Ah, here he is! All new and shiny. He's up on my Etsy site! Do go say hi if you can.

Thanks for looking!

Custom Order: Wittle Ellafont

A new commissioned piece! This elephant is for a little boy who's brandy new to this world and whose nursery colors are grey, yellow and orange. Cool parents, eh?

Don't be confused by the oddly spelled title, Wittle Ellafont is this lovely lady's name.

(yes, the pictures are a little blurry. I'd lost the light but I didn't want to use flash.)
